High-energy, feel good romp of classic blues, R&B, rock & roll, and a little bit of country band. With his name and Memphis-area upbringing, Al (Piper) Green seemed destined for a life in music. Influenced by the giants of blues, soul and R&B, such as Otis Redding, James Brown, Solomon Burke and B. B. King.

Piper & the Hard Times are known for their deep melodies and swinging rhythms. The band features lead singer Al "Piper" Green, fiery blues/rock guitarist Steve Eagon, "the groove king" drummer Dave Colella, and a trio of Nashville's finest bass, keyboards, and sax talent who together deliver a healthy vibe of soul, blues, and funk to Nashville.

Piper & the Hard Times are also a semi finalist in the International Blues Competition this year - let's send them off from the fair with a big crowd of love & luck!

The night of Blues kicks off with Crooked Eye Tommy. Music starts at 6pm in the Courtyard.
